Out of Bounds(OB) (Rule 27) |

a. |
On or beyond curbstones on the border of gray inter-lock stone on entire ambulance track. |

b. |
White stakes are directional from the line of play. i.e. White indicating out of bounds, Green indicating in play unless on an adjacent fairway. |
|
| |
c. |
Where stakes are not discernable, all adjacent fairways and through the adjacent fairways are deemed OB. |
|
| NB: Where OB is defined by stakes, the OB line is determined by the nearest inside points of the stakes at ground level.
(The OB stakes may not be removed) |

| 3. |
Water Hazards |

a. |
Water Hazards are defined by Yellow stakes/lines. |

b. |
Lateral Water Hazards are defined by Red stakes/lines. |

Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)

| |
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions. |

Integral Part of the Course (Rule 33-2A) |

a. |
All white stakes defining out of bounds may not be removed under any circumstances. |

| |
b. |
All interlocking stones are integral parts of the course and may not be moved on any account. |
| |
| 7. |
Protection of Plants on the Course |
| |
a. |
Protection of plants and shrubs/drip irrigation pipes, surrounded by interlocking stone. If a ball lies inside such
an area surrounded by interlocking stone, the ball must be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with
rule 24-2b (I).
Penalty for Breach of Rule: Match play – Loss of hole. Stroke Play – Two Strokes. |

Any ball outside the interlocking stone must be played as it lies (no free relief). |

| 8. |
Ground Under Repair |
| |
These areas are marked by white lines, and defined as GUR under Rule 25. Play from such areas is prohibited and players are obliged to take relief under rule 25. |

| 9. |
Floodlights/Switchgear |
| |
If the ball strikes a floodlight or switchgear on the 8th, 2nd or 5th, the shot must be replayed without penalty. Any other floodlighting on the perimeter of the course will be treated as the rub of the green, no player shall be allowed to replay their shot as a result of hitting these floodlights or switch gear. |

| 10. |
Pace of Play (Rule 6-7Note 2) |
| |
The pace of play for 9 holes is a maximum of 2 hours, and for 18 holes a maximum of 4 hours. However, this time allowance is not a given right and all groups are requested to ensure a better pace of play; OR if your group has lost a complete hole you MUST let groups playing behind through immediately.
Etiquette dictates all players to be aware of their environment and their surroundings – pace of play is vital to the enjoyment of the game of golf.
Penalty for Breach of Rule: Match play – Loss of hole. Stroke Play – Two Strokes. For subsequent offense – Disqualification. |

Course Marshall/Club Official |
| |
All players MUST abide by the requests of the Course Marshall(s)/ Club Official(s) AT ALL TIMES. Any person or persons not abiding by the Rules and Regulations of Abu Dhabi City Golf Club may be requested to leave the premises. |

| 12. |
Appeal Panel |
| |
The decisions of the Appeal Panel (Club Manager, Club Secretary and Head Professional) will be final and binding on any disputes arising out of conduct of play. |
